new addtions down on the farm!

here are a couple of new addtions to my sister's farm....lol do not ask me what the name of the breed of dog is LOL as I have already forgotten how to say it as well as his name lol all I remember is that they are going to call him Big E for short! LOL and the baby goat was just born on monday...what a cutie!

I was standing out in a lightening storm lol oh yes so very smart of me with my camera in hand lol just waiting ......very patiently lol and just a tad nervous as there were quite a few bolts of lightening coming down around the houses where I was and I was just lucky enough to have caught this bolt just as it hit the ground!

Down on the farm

I was going through some old photo cds and came across some photos of my sister's llama and the kids working on feeding the goats. They always had so much fun helping out!

crazy hair day

To our mother....

On March 16th it will be 2 years....already.......it doesnt seem possible.....that our mother passed away and I was just thinking about her tonight and I was feeling down and felt that I needed to dedicate this post to her. For those of you who are lucky enough to have your mother around please cherish every day you have....even if you dont get along because one day she will no longer be there and you wont know just how much you miss her or need her until she is gone. Tell her you love her!

I was playing around in photoshop and realized that the puppy pics I had already put on this blog looked so washed out so I redid a couple of them plus a couple more and I think I did ok...now they look a bit better. He is so cute I could just cuddle him all night long.

Ice covered trees

This past week or so we have gotten a whole lot of snow and ice on top of it all. When the sun comes up first thing in the morning the ice covered trees are beautiful! lol unfortunately I didnt get out quick enough to get those pictures but I think I got some ok ones. :) Here are just a few to enjoy.

In case you havent figured it out yet lol I just love my cats! not as much as my granddaughter lol but almost! I was organizing my desk and found a cd my sister had burned for me of pictures she took of my cats when they were only about 6 months old. I thought for sure the pictures werent going to transfer because the cd was so scratched....imagine how happy I was to find out that it was able to read it!!!
